I’m going into the dental field, in which I know oral piercings are looked down upon.. but I’ve always wanted it done, but just curious to see what a tongue piercing looks like without the jewelry..

Jack say that”i t’s really not very noticeable. i had mine pierced for 6 years (i had two of them ) and 3 years later there is just a small indention there. nobody would really notice it, tho my sister did… she’s in dental hygiene school. BUT something to think about… the reason i took mine out was because one of the balls was resting on my bottom front teeth and was pushing my gums down. my dentist told me that if it continued to rest there and push my gums down i would lose my two front teeth. NOT very attractive so i took them out. after 3 years my gums have just now almost healed from it and grown back up to where they should be. ”
